My name is Ashford C. Mahlawule, I am a Soweto based entrepreneur. I have a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, which I obtained from the University of Johannesburg; a certificate in entrepreneurship, which I obtained from the Awethu Project; I am also a self published author of a book series called Mqombothi, which is a narrative about what African entrepreneurship should be so that we can effectively solve the problems in our communities.
I founded Stimelar Group with a vision of creating a world without unemployment. Through Stimelar, the vision is being achieved by helping people find jobs by making them aware of the jobs available in the market, and how they can apply for them. The Group will also be investing in educational programmes that will equip people with the skills and knowledge that will enable them participate in the modern technological economy.
I have identified five pillars that I believe will enable Stimelar to create a world without unemployment, and Stimelar Group will be working with communities ensure that the programmes are implemented. The five pillars are listed below:
- Promote access to education.
- Promote access to technology.
- Promote access to nutrition.
- Promote access to shelter.
- Promote access to culture.
